Dental Detente
Really, the title is in reference to the cleaning and checkup that I just got back from, but not really referring to the cold war between my teeth and general bacteria found in the mouth. Dr. D said it looked pretty good inside my craw, and I was on my merry way.
Listen to two new podcasts this week. Molly’s other podcast, the Gadgettes, was pretty good with Kelly and Jason (but no Tom, it’s a geek girl thing). I picked up on the usb cassette archiver, and totally want one, even though I only have a few cassettes left from previous spring cleanings. The other podcast A Different Point of View is a parody show involving a Star Wars imperial storm trooper’s perspective. Fairly funny, and would be funnier if the language was cleaned up. I really shy away from the swearing/cursing, and it disappoints me that it’s become acceptable in today’s culture. I know there’s bigger battles out there, but we all have to start somewhere as well.
