Mass Exodus
Wow! It’s been 6 people in the last week either moving to a different contract or leaving the company entirely. It really makes you assess your own current situation. I am in the blessed position of being paid a decent wage, while not having to go traveling to the field to produce. I stay in the project office and amass all the reports that get passed on to the customer. Money’s still tight, but I get the notion that it’s better than having too much money to deal with. And then I consider what could be out there. I’m intensely loyal to my company, but have been burned by that before in previous situations. I do want to get deeper into technology, but I feel so out of it when I read job requirements. It’s better to be not satisfied in this regard. And THEN, I consider what I’m doing for the Lord. Am I going out to all the nations to tell them about Jesus? We had some missionaries fromThailand at church last night, and they really brought to focus that the more people hear the word, the better. Are you working for the Lord?
